Design café in a listed, former residential building of the Deutsche Bahn at Karlsruhe

United Internet AG wanted a new interior architecture and design concept for their company restaurants and cafés in Karlsruhe and Montabaur, which in future may also be applied at all other locations and to any floor plan.

A café was planned in a listed building next to the staff restaurant “Heizwerk” in Karlsruhe. The furniture for this café was designed to reflect the charm of this old building.

A combination of benches, solid wood tables and wall paneling specially designed and manufactured for this listed room make it appear spacious – despite the limited room width.
